Trouble with Gmax

I am having trouble opening my files in Gmax it says. An error has occured. No scene changes have been made since last save.

lol, mmm seriously, hum.. so you have saved your scene in the gmax format and u try to open it and it says that wierd thing? close gmax, retry ;-) maybe you didn't close your current scene and u try to open it but... it has not changed?
