Troubles installing

I've tried countless times installing HL2, but i keep getting an ERROR 1325 'Documents' is not a valid short name file.



Just wondering how i can solve this problem..

There is an installation bug that causes an error if you don't select a full installation that includes Counterstrike: source but this sounds different to that. Worth a try of adding CS:S, though.

Its a lame question but where do i go to install CS:Source along with HL:2

the problem occurs when it is searching for installed applications. I never reach the point where it lets me install CS:S.
