Hmm... I really can't make up my mind that I like this show or not, sure I thought it was entertaining, but there are aspects of the show that are just... meh you know, its a really put off and I get frankly bored at Sookie's part in the show, everyone is much better than the main character, and there what complexes me... I don't know, really this shit does my head in, she like the flower child of the show, perfect and everyone tries to aspire to her level, its like she isn't flawed, although she is deeply mind you, sleeping with a vamp and all that.


Also this show isn't really about much supernatural stuff either, its more about being different/gay/transsexual/idiot, exactly like six feet under was about... Alan Ball likes making the same thing over I see, bah! I'll wait til season 3 is complete to watch it, cause I see what they do during 1 & 2 with there bloody cliff hangers, balls to that.

After watching the 1st episode a few months ago I was skeptical but intrigued. Then I got hooked and watched the rest of the episodes, but the show went a bit downhill in the 2nd season.

Will check out season 3 when it goes on air. When you said you'll wait till it's complete I though I missed the beginning of it, while there's still a long wait ahead.

I kind of agree, the first 4 episodes of season 2 were really meh, but it got better when Michelle Forbes character got fresh out as that god-thingy, I was pissed that the horns where no more than a helmet

oh, i won't be through it tonight actually. i thought there was only 10 episodes but it turns out the disc with bonus features also says eps 11-12. cool. it's good stuff though, really looking forward to how it all pans out.

Actually I didn't like how the show focused on her character, while it's supposed to be about vampires and their place in society.

I personally felt that aspect got tiresome, like the whole Godrick (whatever its spelled) part of the show, it was kind of weak imo, the way that story ended...

btw, I was reading the wiki for The Southern Vampire Mysteries (the books that True Blood is based on) seems to talk about more than just vampires, even fairies oddly...

i KNEW it would be rene and that sucks, coz i liked him. there was just suddenly a point in the episode, and it was before the obvious ''i'll drive you home'' shit from any killer thriller, where it just clicked to me and i thought fuuuuck, that's going to suck if it's him. and it was. lame. still cool though.

good stuff, that. i enjoyed it, finished quite abruptly though.
