Anyone have this?

I got it through the post this morning for the Gamecube and stopped playing after 10 minutes. It has got to be the choppiest, slowest and ugliest game I have ever played.

I enjoyed the True Crime: Streets of L.A. , and the huge jump down in performance is sickening. My advice: stay clear of this one.

And by the way, has anyone else got it? What system? And are you having the same problems?

Wouldn't touch it, not after the horrifying mess that was True crime LA.

Agreed. I'd seen it in various places advertised as being like GTA but better, so when my friend got it I asked if I could borrow it. He got it back the next day.

Looks too gangsta for my liking.

I liked True Crime LA a bit though.

yea my brother got true crime when he got his xbox last christmas (hes getting a 360 this christmas... the lucky bastard)

Anyway, just looking at the box its like, meh. transparent. Just a game to capitalize on the success of Grand theft auto was my guess.

He plays it. Its ..
.. i don't know it has some things i like hidden within that crappy game.
but i wouldn't pay 10 bucks for the original, and i figure a remake would be just more of the same.

Sounds like it isn't even more of the same but less.

Regardless of the very poor presentation, I'm still going to try and play it. The game does seem to have a few nice features, but I'm shocked that Activision released it in this state.

Activision owes me now for this, and Ultimate Spider-Man. :hmph:
