So I'm trying out Google Chrome, as well as the concept of using tabs. So far I hate tabs, but I'm loving the small footprint of chrome compared to firefox. Firefox has really started to annoy me lately.

But I have one big annoying issue. When I'm down in a page, like the forums, and I scroll all the way back up, it's a habit of mine to scroll all the way up and let go and do what I need to do, but in chrome if I do this, and it reaches to the tab and shrink/minmax/close bar, it'll revert my scrollbar all the way back down to where it was, and I have to go back and pull it up again.

With the habits I've developed this ends up happening all the time and it's driving me crazy. Anybody know of a way to work around it?

You get used to tabs, you get used to this!

Quit being so sloppy with your mouse movements!

Sloppy with my mouse movements? Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't aware I had to be precise to get my scrollbar up to the top and no more than that.

You've got plenty of buffer. Even if you manage to grab the scroll bar at its very tip-top, you've still got a little bit of buffer with the bookmarks bar before it snaps back.

ITT what could be discussed in a messenger window >_>

Do you not own a scroll wheel?

I have a scroll wheel. I use my scrollwheel for various things when I'm reading a forum normally, but on large pages I'd rather not scroll the wheel a dozen times to get to the top.

That's what clicking in the scroll wheel is for and throwing your mouse to the top or even holding in the scroll wheel and then releasing it at the top of the page. That or you could just click anywhere near the top of the scroll bar so you are at least 2 cm away from the top of the page.
