Trying to set up Dual Screen for Half-Life 2

Hello all,
I know this has been talked about but I just can't seem to get it to work. I have two Samsung SynchMaster 2243bwx 22" monitors with a native resolution of 16080x1050 and I REALLY want to rock them both on HL2. However, hl2 doesn't have a video display setting for dual monitors. Am I missing somthing?

You might need to set it up in Windows, and not HL2.

How would you play half-life using multiple monitors? I guess if you wanted it too be ultra widescreen but I think that be a bit annoying personally.

You're going to have to change driver / Windows settings. Basically you need to make Windows think you have one big ass monitor, and not two separate ones (even though Windows stretches the desktop, that's not the same thing).

I've never actually done it so can't give any advice really.

It can be done pretty easy doing it the way these guys have mentioned. Although where you aim will be split by the space between the LCDs and also the bezel or frame of each LCD. So it won't be good for actually playing that way.

Usually for multi-monitor gaming you want 3 LCDs across so the center of the experience where most of the stuff is going on is still intact.
