just wondering does anyone use it?and have you had any problems with it?i tweaked the settings as it recommended in the readme but noticed that the restart took longer than usual rather than faster,i'm always wary of stuff like this as it can fu*ck up your comp as has happened to me in the past

also how do you default back to your original settings b4 tweaking,i know you can disable the tweaks etc

I use tuneup utilities 2004. It has a backup registry feature, a complete rollback of the settings and a default value button on every pages you can change the settings. It's the best windows tweaking utility imo.

games and computer magazines usually have free software on hteir CD/DVDs these days, and quite often you get full version products for free.

that tuneup utilities was great ti,easy to use,got rid of alot of junk, well it said it was junk, dunno exactly what it was though

Also while we are talking about windows tuneup, you might want to try Diskeeper. Awesome defragmenter program. First time I see a defrag make such a performance boost. For optimal defrag you should have about half your HD free.
