tunnels

I'm creating a map which involves making tunnels. I have tried making them with an elongated arch and also cutting out oval bits in a larger brush. The latter looks a lot better, but it also makes the number of triangles jump way up. Do you guys think its worth it, or should I just do the arch method and then go back and mess it up a bit?

are they easy to import?

Doh I went back to using 98SE. No xsi for me :(
