Tutorial for Hammer?

Anyone know of a decent tutorial that includes everything needed to know to create a map, whether it be fun map, surf map, or a normal map? I've been searching for ages but can't find anything. I've seen the Documentation logs, but I find myself keep getting lost. It says how you are supposed to do something, but doesn't explain from the start how to do it, so I guess what I'm saying is I need a step by step guided tutorial with everything included, how to create a trigger, how to create landscape, even how to make a box.

I just did a beginner tutorial and made a map about 25'x30', applied textures, lighting and spawn points. That's about all I know.

Any help would be much appreciated

Raeven is a big help. If you look at my thread on here titled "A little help" or "A little bit of help" He posted a few tutorials.

I recently made my first map, well basically a house. It turned out hideous, but at least it works
