tv/out working. but flicker/line problems (9800)

Okay, so i plugged in my tv from upstairs and i'm getting a picture now.

so my old tv/vcr must have a prob.

but now i get alot of choppy /lines .. no popcorn just really thick moving scan lines.


if anyone can enlighten me on anything i could try to fix this, i'd be very much apreciative.

Could it be that you are using a progressive (non interlaced) output into a interlaced TV.
You say they are slow moving thick scan lines so maybe this isnt it.
Interference anywhere?

don't know, and i don't know how to check..

its the equivelant of having inch folds that warp the screen flickering up and down and the screen is jerky
