I've got one and love it. Don't use the included software it sucks, get MCE 2005 or something.

do u know of any alternatives to the included software that records TV, besides MCE

Any of the ATI TV tuner cards are good. The Elite has the best quality out of any of them (it's new).

Although ATI's software doesn't suck at all although if you are getting MCE then that is much better.

I got a winfast TV 2000 XP (wow, the name alone makes it sound like a tool ANY hacker would want!!!111)

£20, it's perfect for what I wanted. Looks really nice at full screen, just need a new arial and to find a good place for it!
