For anyone who likes European metal Im assuming you know about or have already heard these.

Helloween - Keeper of the Seven Keys Part 3 The Legacy

If your a fan of the first two Keeper albums I have no doubt you'll like this one. Not quite the same style, and Andi Deris on vocals now of course but still a solid album. Its a dual album. Begins with an epic (14 minute song) which is awesome, and ends on a high note too.

Gamma Ray - Majestic

Well if you know Helloween, you obviously know Gamma Ray, since Kai Hansen who originally formed Helloween is now on Gamma Ray. This album is awesome. One of Gamma Rays best if not their best. Its seems quite a bit heavier then the Helloween album, and faster at some parts too, but its got some killer guitar work (which is only expected from Kai Hansen), and is generally just awesome.

Anyway if you like Metal, in particular European Speed/Power metal style, check out these albums.

And the new Destruction and Exodus albums are definitely worth a buy. *nod*

Speaking of COB, now that Meshuggah have cancelled their UK tour (nnnggghhh!!) I have money to afford the COB gig in January just across town from where I live. Should be a good 'un. I'm not so big on Bodom anymore, but the only other gig I have lined up in January is, well, Fear Factory I think. And seeing that I've already seen them and they aren't that good live (short set, too), COB it is!

Well there you go, then.

Of course, I can't imagine Nile or Behemoth with clean vocals. Dear Lord, that would be frightening.
What, are you actively trying to ruin my mind? Don't say that about them :(

CoB are good fun live, I guarantee you'll have a good time. They always pull out the classics.

I am tempted to go, but the other gig I could use my Meshuggah money for is Arch Enemy. I'm not a fan of AE, I never got into them, but SYL are supporting. So.. yeah. But still, COB being after my Birthday/Christmas means I'll have some more money for gigs anyway.
