However I know I can type faster. One of the main problems with this is that it doesn't add commas until I actually get to the world, which can completely **** me up as I read forward about 2/3 words as im typing. It also lacks "stucture". This hurts me because I normally don't read the entire sentence of that i'm typing. My brain reads sentences like a word, which accounts for how I can read fast and why people tell me they can't read as fast as I type. My brain picks out key words and then I fill in the rest as "what makes sense" as i'm typing. This is my leading cause of errors. This program sometimes throws in an odd sentence and the sentences don't make sense with eachother.

I'm also a massive backspacer. I can make an error, backspace, correct, move on, before some people can read the word im typing. Simply to put I often don't look at the word im typing till I hit the "space bar", well you hit the space bar in this program and your gone.

btw I hit a top speed of 100words per minute on an ainsworth trainer 4 test in the sixth grade. I averaged 70.
In contract on ainsworth trainer 4 now that i'm a junior, I can average about 120 and i've had a top speed at 168. My 168 also left 0 errors. That was just a perfect day. I'm also very loud when I type...i "bang" the keys. In my typing class last year...trust me..you could hear when I started typing...

lol look at my complaining on why I didn't do my best when I did excelent? :(
I took it again and ended up with the same score ;(.

That's the same way for me, sadly. I wish I could just type normally, and let it test and see how fast my regular mind typing is.

My brain fizzled in some parts, but this is my first attempt. Note, I am a very, VERY fast typer, and I generally type very accurately. I type in such a way that I can feel myself make mistakes. I have noticed the mistakes I made as I made them, and part of why I fizzled is because I wanted to go back and correct them as I normally would, but it wouldn't let, so that led to some more successive mistakes.

I am the exact same way. We had a program at our school last year where for certain typing tests you could not backspace. Personally though I found a way around this. I read a word and how I type is in what I like to call "one motion". It's slows be down by about 10wpm overall but it tends to be more accurate and you see spelling errors in what your typing. Although since that program it's been harder for me to just tell when I make an error.

In school On Ainsworth Trainer 4 I hit a nice 150 today. My entire second hour was like "How the hell do you do that".

As I was talking about fast typers(like us) seem to work in similar ways. We don't read the full word, we simply see it quickly and move on. I also have a very big problem, I will screw up two letters. For example, "exmaple" is how I might spell it however the two letters are always hit with different hands, therefor usually on different sides of the keyboard. Simply I just type to fast and one hand just gets going faster than the other.

Although I will be able to apply my typing skills to my career which is programming(I'm already very good with C# and C++ at age 16).

Apparantly i'm a good writer, or at least at writing bullshit. During my english class we had to write an essay on the book for the books test. Well lets just say I never read the books...and somehow I got an A on every essay and she told me she'd like to read mine out to the class. Hopefully i'm a good bullshitter, that'll help me out through life.
