Ubisoft jacks out of the Matrix Online

A few weeks after canceling the online component of Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, Ubisoft has removed another massively multiplayer game from its lineup. The publisher announced today that it was bowing out of its deal to copublish the Matrix Online with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

I really looking forward for this, hoping it to change the MMORPG scene.

Its a shame that Ubi doesnt thinks like me.

i wasnt really looking forwards toi it anyway, a, its a mmorpg, b, its turn based if im doing all these super slo-mo moves, i want it to seem as real as possible, like max payne, not this

I saw a few movie clips from it and I was completely unimpressed. That and I hear your "armor" and "weapons" would be clothing upgrades like better sun glasses. Lame. Maxtrix is not meant to be an mmorpg in the traditional sense. Maybe something more like Planetside.

I bet they did it because the game was going to suck, it is pretty much an auto attack fighting system.
