right i can't believe this i need urgent help now please if you will....
I'm typing to you lot from my brother's computer....
I updated the bios for my asus a8v deluxe, the thing is i chose not to clear the CMOS.
I restarted after updating via asus on the internet site and it says i have no hard drive, i restarted again and it said the same thing and then again and it said i had a new processor!!!!!?!?!?!
Anyway, it wants me to set up an array for my SATA hard drive, would doing this wipe my current data on the drive???
Here's the options if i choose to "fast build"...
Fast Build Utility 2.01 for Promise.
Auto Setup
View Drive Assignments > if i choose this it says the following...
my drive is not assigned as it says "free" and it has the mode "U6" which is UDMA 6 or whatever. The other options on the first menu are as follows...
Define Array
Delete Array
Rebuild Array
This has got out of hand! I never set up an array at the beginning of setting up the PC in the first place so what is this?
Help Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease
