Really good news, i've been looking forward to this one in a long time, the x-com games rocked, i just hope we won't get disappointed with this "unofficial" follow-up

Btw considering that the gold announcement actually was confirmed during an interview, makes me believe that maybe valve would do something similar---keeping the gold date secret for a number of days, before just telling all about it in some random interview (hopefully HL2.net's---that would be awesome)[/speculation]

Its definetly got outdated graphics by todays standard, but if it can deliver the same type of gameplay as the original UFO, its gonna rule anyway

yeah but i still play the old x-com games, so the graphics in the new is'nt as important to me...
