for example the game of cronicles of riddick dont follow the same history of the movie its a prequel of the movie and was very good

I'm glad Coppola doesn't like it. Neither do I. While its a neat idea, The Godfather trilogy wasn't about shooting people. It played out kind of like a greek tragedy (in my eyes anyway). I just...know it won't work.

You could technically make an adventure/puzzle game, however they're usually boring unless they're done in humour, i.e. Monkey Island, Grim Fandango. Also in the Godfather you already know what's going to happen anyway.

Well, that works because Riddick is an action hero.

The Godfather films aren't about action or shooting at all.

Well, the cutscenes look good...but the Godfather was about story first, violence a far far second. Some of the best parts were the scenes like Michael talking with Moe Green about taking the casino, Fredo telling Anthony about his "trick" for catching a fish.
