So yeah, my XBOX 360 just died and I went on the XBOX website to report the fact that it has died... then I had to fill out a support request (giving the serial, etc).. and I ended up getting this E-Mail from UPS with a reciept and a sticker to put on a box in it that they say I should print. Now my question is this.. in the UK are they expecting me to box it, stick this sticker on and send it off? because I've read reports about the RRoD in the US and it seems they send you the box to send it back in....

Anyway, 70% thru Halo 3, 20% thru Bioshock so it suck to be me!

I thought they sent you a box in the UK, it would suck otherwsie. Can you not return it to the store you bought it from?

I would, but I bought it when I was living in Tenerife... they haven't explcitly said they would send a box, but man, I sure hope they do.

You don't need a 360 box, just a normal, blank box that can hold the 360 safely. I wrapped mine in bubble wrap and put it in a shoe box and it was fine. UPS took it with no problems.

Yeah just get any old box and throw the unit in with plenty of bubble wrap. I don't think I'd have the patience to wait for them to supply a box anyway. You have what you need to send them the unit.

Gah, thought as much. Bit annoying that US residents actually get the right size thing to send it in. Thanks anyway guys...

You must have clown feet!

Hah, it was a big fancy K-Swiss box, but I covered it in brown wrapping paper just to stop them whining about it now being a plain box or something.

I thought mine had gotten it, (moments before playing Halo 3.) But I realized it was FULL red... which means the A/V cable wasn't fully plugged in... hehe...
silly me.
Wait, UK? Well too bad.

Here in Norway they send you the box via UPS the very same day you call, and the UPS guy ships it off the same day.

The RROD sucks, but MS customer service is pretty awesome.

Just waiting for mine to happen.. I've had the Xbox 360 since the day it came out, and it hasn't had any problems yet, but this red ring of death sounds inevitable.

Its sad how many defunkt x360's are out there.. My friend has went through two, and about to purchase a third, only because he is halo crazy...

I have had a wii and a ps3 since release, and neither one has ever frozen, or stopped working even once (bar interenet browsing on both)

Now Then. I packaged the POS off and here's the info from the UPS website...

Question is... what now? Is there anyway I can find out what is going on with it now that UPS has fullfilled their end of the bargain?

Mine got it too.. now, it's really gay. Unfortunately, it wasn't the actual red ring of death, but just one red quadrant.. anyway, it's broken, and NOT under warranty, so I have to pay money..
Load of shiznizzle.
