Anyone going to try and have a go? I might try and get into one of the events happening in Birmingham.

So much Birmingham and no Wolverhampton. :( Ah well, Birmingham ahoy!

Bwahaha! I may go to the one in Bluewater. Play the console before anyone. I assume it will be playable.. :|

Zelda, Red Steel, Metroid, ExciteTruck and Far Cry. Those are the ones I want to play. But basically, anything I can get my hands on. The sooner I touch a Wiimote, the better.

I work out at the Gyle (Edinburgh). January? I'll already have one. :D

I think i read St. Davids Hall mate ;)

Anyone care to explain this concept to me by any chance?

:dork:
Yeah but that's cardiff, which may as well be England by now. None of you have proper Welsh accents, 'innit :p.

You'll need binoculars to see me. I'll be at the front of the queue.

Or it'll turn out far too much effort to actually get there. And I'll sit in my room and cry.

Sweet, Ireland gets it before everywhere but London :p
Maybe I'll go to this, I'll have to look more into it first though.

I'll probably have one for Xmas by then too.

I might go to the Gyle to buy a new game around then anyway, just to check it out. Are Wii's games going to be around the £25 mark, or just as much as any other game?

No higher than 40 quid. Better than the 50-60 for other games.

Grr, why can't they just put kiosks in stores before the release like microsoft did with the 360?

I could drive to sheffield to try one out, but it'll only be a week before the release anyway - seems kinda pointless. Grr.

There are going to be kiosks too, but no one knows how many yet or in what shops. They'll probably only allow a short demo of Zelda, Red Steel and Wii Sports. Whereas these events probably allow access to more.

If you pre-order from Argos you get £10 off one game and £20 off two games. It'd be £209 with one game. Which is the cheapest i've found it so far! good deal :)
