UKIP make huge gains in European Elections

Still it seems to be a good indication of the growing annoyance with the governments policy towards matters like this. People say that labour will lose the next election because of protest votes against the war, but its all the crap they are doing at home thats really getting annoying.

Yeh i personally think they will lose on issues percived like immagration, NHS, tax, police force and stuff like that.

I personally think europe has to much power over us and we should stop that.

Keep the free trade agreement.
Lose the politicans.

UKIP is pretty unrealistic, GB leaving the EU would seriously hurt the economy, and the fact that they have been democratically elected to an institution they claim is undemocratic... just doesn't make much sense.

On a slightly related note it's ****ed up how popular the Sun is in the UK, I've read it and it's a piece of right-wing, dumbed-down, badly-writen crap.

The only reason it is popular is on page 3, nothing more.

Yeh i've never heard any of UKIPS other policys.

The reason why most people like the sun is because of left wing papers like the mirror. And they feel the paper is most intouch with their views, i personally find the sun tolerable but only because of the common sense they have on issues(mainly coming from whats his name the man of the people) i can really relate to him with my views of what's going on in the U.K.

Wahoo!!!

Sane person!!!

FOR GODS SAKES DO NOT VOTE FOR THE UK IP.

If you do our country is ****ed. It doesnt get any more simple than that.

This kind of thing just illustrates why politics and voters piss me off. UKIP are a bunch of nonces , claiming they will

"destroy the parliment from the inside"
:upstare:

On a different note for all the people who voted differently to what they would have because of the war ie say you didnt vote labour or voted torie or some such other thing. Thats all well and good ... I think people forget they will now have to deal with consequences of the tories having control of their council for the four years......... :x

:(

God if the tories get in I am gona be sooooo pissed. :|

If the UKIP get in. I might just go on a shooting spree..... dirrected at that damn looser dumbass racist twat killroy......

I will only be satisfied with Labour or the Lib Dems.

And to be honest I think we should have labour again. They are a good party for our countries sake irregardless of whether the war was bloody just. Our ecconomy is doing great. And if those others piss it up again I would be so damn irritated....

I think most voters who defected over the war issue went Lib Dem, since Conservatives supported the war too. If I lived in England I'd definitely vote Lib Dem, the other two parties sicken me.

Heh, can't even vote for any of those parties over here anyway - only the Greens had candidates both here and in Britain I think.
DUP and Sinn Fein got seats :/

I don't want any of them in really...I really do not like the labour party though, Tony Blair isnt the problem, its just the party. I actually have respect for Tony because he made a decision and stuck with it regardless. Thats showing some integrity, a thing that politicians lack. I just don't want a party that folds everytime a few people complain. They need to do what the public need, not just what they want.

I've found my problem with voting has been knowing exactly what the policies of these parties are...they try to make it out like they are doing what you want when in actual fact its nothing of the sort. Its not that i mind them not doing what i want, its just that i wish they could make it clearer.

Exactly, some politicians do cave in when the more vocal minority try to force politicians in acting against the less vocal majority.

Isn't that two reasons?

In proportion to how good the other parties are labour is the best but they clearly got a few weaknesses but I dont think that iraq is one of them. The lib dems are just n00bs :P, conservatives seem to think they can lower taxes and have good services and UKIP are just idiots who seem to think europe is a bad thing :\. I mean who voted for them?!? The green party arnt too bad apart from their new war policy, when I say they arnt bad I mean they deserve a few seats.
