I have a Radeon 9600 pro 256 mb ..
I was wondering (because everyone is saying) is this card getting old? I'm I going to have to buy a new card like a x800 or is it not worth the 500 bucks? Thanks a lot..
does anyone know a website thats shows like FPS for high end card on like say ut2004 and other stats ???

honestly I wouldnt bother unless you have the cash to blow on a new card for the sake of it.. im stuck on a geforce 3 and I get by on current games. Though I am getting a completly new rig soon.

:x 9600 Pro's are still good to have around. X800's are definately superb, it depends on many factors of your own personal preference.

Personally $500 on an x800 XT PE or $400 for a x800 Pro is good it doubles performance of the 9800 XT which is like DAMN!

i'd say, no. a 9600 pro is what valve is aiming to be "optimal", so unless you have that much nmoney to blow, it's not worth it.
