Un-Able to save my work.

Hi.

I'm trying to create a skin for Steam, and I've loaded up a custom skin (not using the default one). I've set the whole directory to readable/writable (i.e. not read only). Made a few changes using the Ctrl & Shift & Alt & B edit box as suggested in the tutorial, and when I try to save, I get the message:

Error: Could Not Save Changes. File is most Likley Read-Only.

I mean, wtf. Why won't it commit my work to file?

Who knows. The VGUI build mode is designed to be used by the Steam devs, so it works however they have it set up, but not on the client.

Maybe you could e-mail them, or post it on the Steam Suggestions forum to see if they'd change it to make skin editing easier?
