(un)Install problems

Firstly, hey to everyone, I'm new to this part of the web

So.. . I recently moved the whole Valve folder from C: to D: to give more room for windows to run better, or I was told it would run better.

Now none of the game shortcuts work (no suprise there) but the actual game dosen't work either. So I tried to unistall the whole game to re-install it. But the uninstall dosen't work either.. .

So should I just trash the whole folder.. .or? Any thoughts?

I suspect its probably cuz the registry isnt aware of the new file location, there's a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Valve/Steam/InstallPath or something like that which indicates the Steam path, so u might try changing it to reflect the new values, but there could be other registry keys also so i dont know.

I'm used to mac's where things are simple
