Unable to load next level/map (spoilers?)

I've played right though most of the game, through City 17 and have entered the citadel where you get into one of the 'pods' and get taken around the inside of the citadel........ then you get 'dropped' out of the pod into a small room with a blue combine 'fence' infront of you and it automatically starts loading the next map. I just see the 'Loading' text on the screen and it goes no further than that the computer has not froze because i can alt-tab etc, i've left it for 30 mins but it does nothing at all, anyone else having this problem??

GGGRRRR.. person who can play the game .. wher do you live ... so i can coem and have a go on the first level ... since my version wont work!!! gggrrrr
