Unable to run game at this time try later

Can anyone tell me why I have not been able to play Counter strike for 3 days? I click on the find game link to CS Source and wait to log on but it says the above? Whats up?

I've had the same problem for 1 day and then it suddenly went away... I would like to know 2 what causes this
