"Unable to save image"

That's what I see every time I try to upload an image into my signature.

This is the image I'm trying to use HERE. It's the requisite size both in file size and dimensions.

Any ideas from everyone else, or is it just a little bug?
Any help or advice would be most welcome!

Requisite size? Where are you getting such information? Images are not allowed in signatures, there is no "requisite size", it won't work.

Edit: Oh now I see there is an image upload option. I don't know why that's there but you can't put images (besides smileys) into your signature, which is why you are getting that error I guess.

Images are a no-no. We have this horrible thing on this site... its called a signature limit! D:!

And I think he means 'required' size.

edit: Whoa.. I opened up that picture... and every time the C17 went red a bird chirped... D:! Is that a bad omen?

Anyway. Yeah there's an upload feature, but it's an enabled. Veg is a noob for not seeing this feature earlier.

Fair enough some of us don't want images in sigs, but why bother with the upload feature then? Is it just like the Media section that hasn't been integrated into the site yet?

I was just ready to create a thread on this very topic!

What if you...'MODS'.... allow just the user-bars?

They are: width: 350 pixels (across..) Height: 19 pixels (up/down..)

Those should be acceptable, right? They are the size of one-two lines of text. Just create a rule allowing just those, and if someone uploads a bigger picture, just ask them to remove it, or remove it yourselves, you got that kinda power right? Editing sigs?

It's probably built into vBulletin (What the forum runs off of) and the admins can't (be bothered) to remove it.

Or you can just use the image button at the top of the posting box. Some forums (like politics) don't let IMG tags work though.
