Unable to unistall a programme

I've been trying to uninstall C&C the First Decade but I keep getting this error message:
Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\PROFES~1\Runtime\11\00\Intel32\Ctor.dll
This specified module could not be found.
I've checked, there is no such file as Ctor.dll. I already posted a thread on this (General Games) but got no adive that worked, so I'm asking again. Please help.

Sorry to hear your having issues uninstalling the game.

Have you tried to uninstall the game via the Add/Remove programs way? (Start--> Control Panel--> Add/Remove Programs)
Did you by chance delete the game folder before you clicked on the uninstall icon in the game folder? Sometimes if a file is deleted thats needed for the uninstall process, you'll get the type of error you are getting.

Have you tried to reinstall the game? If it won't let you, manually delete all the C&C folder(s) and then reboot. Now try to reinstall the game & once it's reinstalled, try the above step top uninstall the game.

You can also go here and download the file you are missing and then manually install/place it in the correct folder. It "should" allow you to now uninstall the game because that file is now present.

In desperation I just deleted the damn folder but the progamme is still installed and taking up 2-3MB of space (Not much, but I might as well be rid of it). I'll try that file, thanks.
