Unable to write to temp appdata

Trying to install a standard software, but I encounter the error saying

Unable to write to the temp directory in C:\User\me\AppData\Local\Temp\. Check that you have write access to this directory.

Windows Vista btw

One account, has full admin access

Tried looking up issue on google, but no luck

Tried giving fiddling with access and security on folder options and the specific folder in question

Tried running exe as admin



Any solutions?

EDIT: trying to clean out temp files with disk cleanup

Even though you fixed i by deleting files it seems you have some minor corruption going on. So you might want to do a chkdsk. Just open up command prompt and type chkdsk /r , if will do a check disk next time it runs.
