uninstalling old drivers

I used to have a geforce 2 mx, then I upgraded to a ati 9800 pro. I read an article in pc gamer in the vede/hardware section, and it was in the Q&A.
They were talking about a program that can find and get rid of the old driver because it may be messing with the performance.
Did anyone read this? I lost my issue, and I don't remember which month, but do you know anything about it?
If not, how do I uninstall that geforce 2 mx driver manually?

i normally go into the add remove remove programs in the control panel and remove the drivers like that and then you do a system search and delete any random files that are left to do with that card
