Unistalling

Hey, I was going through my computer uninstalling stuff I don't use anymore and I came across these files. Can I remove them? I'm pretty sure I can I just wanna make sure.

Don't remove...those are updates you downloaded from windows.

yep.... those are security updates from windows update.

You could uninstall them and make Windows crappier I think, but who wants to add bugs to Windows?

Alright, see that's why I asked. I didn't know what they did. I did a virus scan on my computer and found 2 adwares but it won't let me delete the because it says it's either write protected or in use. If I booted in safe mode could I do a scan and have it deleted. If so how do I boot in safe mode?

F8 when windows is loading.

And take a look in the msconfig in the "Start" tab if there are any unwanted programs that starts with windows.
