University of Colorado is trying to narc out students

Thats so silly, there is no way they could prove in a court of law that any of them were actually smoking marijuana in those pipes or cigarettes so it would never work.
 
You'd have to narc out alot of students to pay for your soon-to-be hospital bills. Druggies can be violent :cheese:

in contrast ..in canada we have marijuana support rallies where activists support the decriminalisation of marijuana (it's legal for medicinal, and is on and off again decriminalised for simple possession) ..anyways it's pretty common to see news reports of these protests where people are seen smoking maryjane within a few feet of police officers ...they're never arrested
 
that one picture of the canadian kid sitting on the steps of his police station smoking a pipe comes to mind.

as does the article i read about the canadian record store that advertised marijuana for sale for a few months before the police had to shut it down.
 
ya there's a few places like that ..there's a store in vancouver that actually sells it, that's all they sell ..it's a cafe but you need a prescription

They'll give them school discipline though. Which is probably a lot more hurtful to them money wise than any law fine would even be :/

Do you need an actual doctor to sign it or can you just write it on a napkin or something. I remember watching a video in high school describing a place in San Francisco that did a similar thing. (asking for prescripsterns.) They would let people write their requests on napkins.
 
Well, medical marijauna is legal here in Colorado, at least according to the state legislature anyway. It's still illegal according to the federalis of course. Ninety percent of the time the cops here couldn't care less on if you're carrying as long as it's not some insanely large amount. People around here in good old Denver are pretty blase about the whole thing. I don't smoke, but if I did, I wouldn't be worrying too much about being caught. CSU was just pulling some bullshit administrative thing to which no one paid any attention.
 
Are US Universities really strictly controlled like Asian Universities?

Here in the UK Universities you can do what the hell you like. Even in halls.

It varies. At Ohio State for instance, it was sheer and utter madness everywhere. Fun stuff.

Like greatgat said it's up to the schools and there's no legal or even traditional policy across the nation. Gotta find out how each school is and what it's like before you go there.
