Anyway, you has gotten it? I'm thinking of asking it for Xmas and playing online with people from HL2.net. How is it?

I think the strum bar seems a little.. bleh. It's all loose and I can't tell whether it's working or not. I need that reassuring click.

The only thing I'd like to know about rock band is how the microphone is implemented.

Do you read the lyrics on the screen and it does a voice recognition thing?

I got Rock Band a few days ago and have been playing it with my mates every chance I have, it's pretty amazing.

The microphone records pitch only? So basically you can replace the lyrics with your own nasty ones?

EDIT: And does anyone know if the RB guitar is useable in GH3?

The RB guitar does not work in GH3. But the GH3 guitar works in RB.
It is all pitch, but it's hard to get it right without saying the right words. Can't keep the rythm.

The RB guitar sucks anyway. So faulty. They better realease a better one.. come on third party!

I enjoy the RB guitar a LOT more than the GH one.

It does have its faults, one for me being that the click on the strum doesn't give enough feedback and you don't get that nice "click". It's there, but a lot less noticeable than the GH one.

Also, solo frets ftw GH can't beat that.

Except I can't switch from the normal to the solo frets fast enough. So they fail. I never really use them unless I play the whole song with them.

I think it's more of a case of YOU FAIL than the solo frets being the problem, my buddy has no problem switching to them on expert songs.

I'll be playing some RB with my mates this weekend, it will be awesome

Yeah, its just a matter of getting the hang of it for switching to the solo frets. Once you do it a few times it kind of becomes second nature whenever I see the blue board :O

I just got to Green Grass and High Tides on expert and yeah **** this game. I can probably beat it, if I practice it enough but still D: The whole song is like one damn solo.
