holy crap, first high quality screens....and they look AMAZING. :D :D :D :D :D

We feel this is a good target for games running on mid-range PC's in the 2006 timeframe.

looks like the next time i upgrade (after my x800xt in june) ....it will be a whole new computer in 2006 ;)

gheh.. Nope it already stuttered on a Geforce 6800 Ultra or whatever

that was the only card that could run it at a repectable frame rate

ye, they said on the demo video that the fastest speed they could get was 1/3fps on any card lower than a geforce 6800 ultra. Also you can see the frame rate drop even with the 6800 ultra. So its going to be a while before its fully capabile. Hense it been so long before it comes out. Things can only get faster and better :p

well doenst that just seem as a way to force people to spend moeny to upgrade

If people are upgrading now for this engine then thyre pretty stupid dont you think?
Because the earliest game being featured on this engine wont come around earlier then 2006

And this is just a grasp of what they expect pc graphics to look like in 2006 and I am sure that by that time the radeon 9800's will be way outdated

Hmmm... I kinda don't get what u mean here, but it comes across as your saying those graphics are what they expect. But those graphics are running in the unreal3 engine. So why would you have to expect them when there in your face? :p

Its basiclly a fact that pc graphics look like that now, its not public. But it is fact that it was real time and been played. So you don't need to wait for anything to happen ebcause it already has :D

Or maybe u was talking about until the first game is released from the engine.

I mean by that, that the graphics unreal Engine 3.0 is showing is what we can expect games to look like in 2006, and thoose games need to be playable at decent frame rates. I dont see any GFX card today being able to create those graphics with a stabel 100 frames a second
