Unreal Tournament 3 INSANE DEMO VID!

cool stuff, the vehicles looked really good

the stasis field looks cool to use as well
 
Nothing new really, but I'm all over the latest news as it comes out on this anyways :p
 
That's really cool stuff, but the gameplay is probably going to be waaay too fast to do any of it.
 
If they Made a game where you ate pooh and collected points ASUKA would say it will be an Amazing game lol

Na, you just need a second for'm, for smaller maps it's bound to be harder but there's always openings in UT.

That looks ****ing awesome, after learning that I can run UE3 games just fine... I now have a reason to be excited for UT3! :D

Those vehicles look fun as hell to pilot and really my only gripe with what I've seen of the game so far is how huge and clunky the weapons look... I hope there'll be an option to shrink their size atleast.
 
Looks like it'll be great. Anyone know when they'll be releasing a PC demo?

From what I've read, Epic hasn't even started talking about a demo...
But like most demos it'll probably be released a few weeks before the game hits retailers.
 
I thought it was supposed to come out September 3rd, which is only a few days away.
 
Yes, they mentioned that a demo will be released 'a couple weeks' before full game release. The game is to be released in November as stated by Mark Rein.
 
It looks great, I'll probably be picking this one up since I loved 2k4
 
I'm not really that excited. The graphics and vehicles are nice, but I've never been a big fan of deathmatch-style gameplay. Bring on Battlefield 3 is what I say.
 
The problem with Unreal Tournament, at least for me... It was always waaaay too fast paced. Everything was 100% twitch based, and there wasn't much room for manuevers or tactics.

I like games that require those elements.

I feel the same. BF3 better be sweet.
 
The stasis field is a pretty cool idea but the rest wasn't all that amazing.
 
The "stasis field" thing could be done in UT2004 so its not really that impressive to me. The only thing the changed is now the player can set them down, which wouldnt have been that hard to include in UT2004 I dont think.
 
Interesting vehicles i have to admit.
That tentacle/sphere thingy especially.
I've never really been a fan of the ut series but this game looks quite promising.
It seems to be much grittier and innovative then the previous titles in the series.
 
For now I'd assume super Bioshock. But plan nothing until after the demo is out.
 
That squid-like vehicle was amazing. I actually had a dream about it last night: I spent the entire dream tearing through my neighborhood in one (which was apparently made by Apple in the dream? D: ) and impressing everyone to no end. Good times :D
 
Looks pretty damn good, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna get it though.

For some reason I've never really rated UT03 or 04. The original UT99 was (and still is) one of my favourite games, but in my mind at least some of the magic was lost in the newer ones. Can't really put my finger on it. I'll give the demo of this one a try at least.
 
I have UT2004, but I never really liked it. UT3 is looking good, but it still doesn't appeal to me. The new vehicles and traps/weapons look cool although I'm not liking the whole "bug" design on everything.
