[br]Unreal Tournament 3 the newest instalment of the famous Unreal Tournament series now has SteamWorks code under it's hood. The game now contains 50 achievements as well as new features such as enhancements in AI, server browsing, demo recording, mod support, and much more. Due to an agreement with Valve, users who purchased Unreal Tournament 3 via a retail outlet can register their key with Steam. There will also be a massive update in upcoming weeks so stay sharp!

sweet, I hope some nice mods come out of this in the near future. The UT3 toolset is awesome.

Very interesting move. Maybe Valve can pickup where Epic seemingly dropped off it's interest in it's PC audience. I'd love to see this foster a tighter UT3 community.

this game is awesome and im glad i can now register my key with steam... that makes me so happy :D

its sad too that this game has gotten so little attention... its awesome. It got dropped down $9.98 at my work (toys r us) for ps3... it runs so well on ps3 unlike so many other ports.. not to mention its the only ps3 game that i know of that supports mods.. hope this goes further on steam works... :D

finally an FPS for console that doesnt infuriate me

Man I love valve and Epic just regained a lot of respect from me.

The whole your-login-is-your-multiplayer-name pisses me off. Just lets kids register all the good names up. I haven't played since.

Everything I'm about to say is what I've been telling people for the last year and a half since I bought this game about a month after release.

People don't give this game enough credit. It's a lot of fun to play. A lot of people hate this game because other people tell them it's bad or because they played the awful demo. A lot of the team deathmatch maps and warfare maps are AWESOME! UT3 has really amazing maps and they make the game a lot of fun to play. Plus I think the mobile gun turrets in some of the maps are awesome.

One of my favorite warfare maps is where both opposing teams have to get their tank across their bridge while it's lowered down and destroy the enemy node.

No, not really. The game just plain sucks compared to the previous games.

I think I'll buy this.

Don't! It's still a pretty shitty game, and nobody plays. At least wait for that monster update that's coming up. It's one of the biggest updates I've ever seen; hopefully it will save the game. I wouldn't go spending any money on it unless this update is as 'epic' as I hope it will be.

I'm sorry, I just thought it was a little bit funny that you put it in quotes. I like it, I just unfortunately happen to like the image too.

Nobody ****ing plays this game. Servers are like 0000000!!!! If you live in theAsia Pacific region, dont even bother wasting your money.

Awesome, does this mean it'll allow me to look for servers through Steam instead of the shitastic consolized browser?
