HDR is the dumbest thing ever. What? It makes the things look brighter??

Pardon me, but can't you just make the textures brighter when building a map?

Is it supposed to be "dynamic", like the sun using the same dynamic light effects as the flashlight in HL2? Or the dynamic lamp in Garry's Mod? Failed. It's no big deal.
