CS:S update, it just says 'fixed localized builds'..?
 
That was released a while back on the first of September.
 
A small update seems like goodnews to me , that there are few bugs remaining in Source.
 
hehe, its probably that theres only 'a few' small ones, and the bigger ones are still being worked on :p
 
Last nights fix was to stop malicious zealots from crashing servers-
before the update, you could spam the console with overly long commands, this, if continued, would overload and crash the server.

So all in all- not a bad fix.

I think valve are concentrating on the major crash bugs people are having- it's just a shame they have to fix crash bugs like this one, which are problematic only because of the high number of idiots who are playing the beta....instead of fixing the genuine compatability issues (just to stress- not valves fault).
I would expect the BETA to last for atleast one more week- maybe longer since there are still quite a few on the beta forum experiencing consistent crashing. Plus a slew of other bugs they'll have to fix before it's released-

floating weapons.
you can still make a nade stick on scenery without going off.
some areas of map don't show decals when you shoot at them.
grenade primed for your death bug(don't really want this fixed it's so much fun:D ).
also some minor probs with weapon jamming on first click even with hud_fastswitch enabled.

There are other bugs I've seen reported aswell but I would imagine apart from the floaty weapon bug that valve will focus on the bugs that are stopping people play at all

You need to re-size your sig to four lines or less please
 
so basically, valve are making great progress, and have narrowed it down to several, if not 5 bug's, and a few compatability issue's. A week sounds kool. should give them enough time to make their correction's to the online aspects of the source engine.

Apart from a floating MP5 I saw yesterday, it's starting to feel really solid,,Really looking forward to the end of the beta.
 
I think it fixed alot of lag problems too. I noticed significantly more FPS and alot LESS LAG SPIKES. Although it was a small update, it has fixed alot and improved gameplay significantly.
