updated cover

The updated US version has pc gamer's editor choice award stamp along with "98%" and "...The best game ever" tag. :D

It seems valve/vivendi contracted pc zone for the uk version.

This is a forum not a f*cking text message. It doesn't take long to write "to" instead of "2" and "for" instead of "4".
I think it would be easier 4 U 2 stop being so damn negative.

why does it matter that i put a 2 instead of a to etc

It is a bit annoying, to be honest, probably because it's mostly associated with 'I H8 U HL2 F5NBOIZ HALO 2 ROXZ!!!11!' type messages. But not half as annoying as iamaelephant is, so you're ok :afro:

Well it's just two numbers I guess. It is annoying, but at least you didn't overuse it. Just try not to do it again. :)

imaelephant, please don't over exaggerate.

My philosophy is that I try to accept that the language evolves, because if I don't I know I'll end up an old man complaining about the gummyment not giving me enough free money.
Also, hasn't that been the cover for like a full year now? What's new?

no its got knew parts to it such as the pc zone award and the 15 certificate

HEY ELEPHANT ... why dont you type LAUGH OUT LOUD instead of LOL ? ?? or OH MY GOD instead of omg ???

...Some times I really wonder if people can find their own ass with both hands and a flashlight. But I am newb friendly. So your lucky.

I find 2 and 4 irritating to read, as well as u. lol is okay because it's meaning quite long, but hell, I can choose to stop reading whem I see a 2 replacing to, can't I?

funny how you just complained about that, then spelled "two" as "to".

yeah, they've actually got a dictionary for that, it's called newspeak.

back on topic, ahem
how is this a new cover?

or is it like the month old reviews that someone finds recently and thinks it's new? Easy mistake if that's the case, no worries

i thought it was new as it has the pc zone thingy and the 15 certificate

Funny how you all complain cause really unless you have a brain that doesn't work very well its very easy 4 you 2 read my 4's and 2's to figure out what im saying. Infact, your brain does it without you having 2 even think about it.

So, if you have a hard time with them stay quiet or you will be proving to the rest of us that you have sat at ur comp for 2 long and ur brain is wasting away.....its ok if that's the problem, means more high paying jobs for people like me :D

Take care guys, and stop being so annoying and complaining about how people write, cause if you havn't noticed....
THERE IS NO RULE AGAINST IT, and you have been around long enough 2 read it and understand it as if it were written properly.

Oh and if you dont believe me, research has been done into simliar sort of things and the brain compensates for it, so you dont have to stress ok...ur brain will do it all 4 u.

I think some people like elelphant need to take a chill pill...or go have fun with some of the sheep in your contry ;) we Aussies know all about that :p

No, because I don't read aloud while tracing my finger past the words. Things like 'very easy for you to read' are just chunks that I can quickly deal with visually, where as '4 you 2' forces me to work phonetically. Perhaps it's different for txt-junkies, but I definitely have to work a little harder to read that.
