Updates To Expect

1) What updates are confirmed or we actually expect?
Bots, models, new maps, old maps, other?

2) Think all the old maps will come (or just a few more old maps) or is there a chance of some new maps (i just want new maps because they will be custom made for source)?

3) Will there be more serious patches, or serious gameplay changes (if so what do you think they may change)?

4) I would guess they would never add another weapon or anything like that but is there a chance?

3) Unknown, but my guess is yes

I doubt they would change the gameplay at the moment, the gameplay will most probably be updated only when CounterStrike 2 comes out.

New Models and maps are coming, i presume most, if not all, of the new maps will be old maps.

I think the next major update for cs:s, will be vac2 being activated (hopefully) and new models i.e. sas, gign, artic warfare, guerilla warfare ones, etc.

Yeah i would guess the next patch will have:
VAC, models, possibly a (old) map or two, if we are super lucky bots may be in the next patch.

Personaly i doubt they would ever add another gun or anything like that but i would love to see it.

It has been some considerable time since the last patch i would guess another one is possible in the near future ;0)

My next question is how big would you guess this patch may be (I have 56k)?

They solve lag issues, they're better for just messing around, they're good if there arent any good servers, they help pad out small servers, they're ok for target practice, they can be used for novelty

i still don't understand the fascination with bots tho.
i hate playing against bots...maybe thats just me tho.

This guy is prob correct, and this forum is not about if bots will be fun (about 1000 threads on this).
Anything else you think they will patch before cs2?
