Updating my 360 without connecting?

I was just wondering if there was a way to get the new dashboard updates and such onto my 360 without connecting to XBL. My router broke a while ago and I can't connect until I get it fixed, and I'd like to see how the new updates are doing.

If you want to know if you can DL them on your PC and burn a disk, why didn't you just ask that? And if your router is busted, how would you connect to the net on your PC? If you have a router for your PC, why not just use that...?

im not really sure what big use you could get out of the dashboard without xbox live.

Yes, you can just burn the update to a CD and pop it in your 360.

I bought a new router, before that I managed to connect my pc by just directly connecting my modem to the pc. Is there something I have to do to get the new dashboard update? It's still the same.

The dashboard update isn't out yet. Comes out the 19th.
