Updating Nvidia Driver for current video cards ????

i got my card back 2 years back, would downloading this file make hl2 on my system run even better, current specs:

Pentium 4 2.4ghz
512MB
geforce 4 ti

cose it say's stuff like, "Added support for 512 MB frame buffer GPUs " also "Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0c and OpenGL® 1.5 support " which seems important ??? anyone give us some help

A friend of mine runs HL2 under a 4600 without difficulty, although he had that driver installed before he tried the actual game with it. If you're having issues with HL2, try installing it.

Generally with older cards you only update the drivers if you are having issues. Their priority is the current generation of cards. You can if you want and if you do have an issue you can revert back to the old drivers.
