updating steam platform trouble

I had to reinstall everything and now when i try to run steam it only updates to 83%. Does anybody know what the problem may be?

Naph you fool, thats just another thread asking about the exact same thing, it hasn't even been solved. You should know full well that support threads more than 5 minutes old are dead and a new one must be opened.
