Updating

I update CS but it says in the properties that it is not up to date and cant be played off line, yet I can load up the game up ,but I cant connect to a server.
Same for Condition Zero

this has happend to me with all my games all you have to do is wait when you go into properties it will say the % that will slowly get to 100% and the way to tell if its updating is in your taskbar put your mouse over the steam icon and if it says steam - working then your game is updating just wait. hope i helped
