Upgrade Now or Next Summer?

I want a AMD 64 and I cant bring myself to spend the money.

I know its a personal problem but for that same reason i dont have a Audigy 2 and im still useing a SBlive!

Can you blame me?

Audigy 3 or what ever its being called is comeing with EAX 5 or whatever to try and dominate the market to get over the hurdle of onboard sound cards.

Dual Core CPUS- Whats better than a Amd 64 FX55? A Dual Core Amd 64 "Toledo is it?"

The x800 is nice.... the new one in october/november will be nice... Sorry doom fans but 512 cards arent comeing this year due to "lack of needing it" As it was put by The Inq-They quoted ATI.... All video cards currently need is 256ram. Anything more and it ups the cost for no reason. If programers did the tech right then the 256 cards could handle what a 1024 could "They are talking about 3dc i belive".

Hard drives - Way out their... PROTINE DRIVES! I saw something on the tv a little bit ago where they where talking about useing protine as a hard drive... I want one.. lol

if you want a good experience playing hl2 then upgrade within the next month or so. If your happy with your surrent set up for that purpose then you should wait for PCI express to become the standard.
