Whats a great value for a wide screen LCD, bigger the better, but I don't want it a ridiculously high price. Would want a fast response time like 2ms.

Any suggestions?

WS monitor go on sale alot now a days... for good deals I would look around www.passwird.com and www.slickdeals.net usually like once or twice a week you can find a good deal and save about 100$ on one. though youll probably get one hats maybe around 5 ms if you are unlucky but you can't really tell the difference imho. I have an acer 22 inch ws and I paid about 140 for it (after selling my old monitor, rebates, and a small gift card from mom)

Where do you live, if in the US, then get yourself a Sceptre, cheap but high quality.

Check your local retaliers for deals, they have a lot of sales this time of year. I got a Acer 22" 1680 x 1050 AL2223W for $189 last week at Best Buy.

is your video card enough to handle that resolution in most games? I'm still sitting on the fence as to whether I want a 22" or a 24" ..24" is twice the price but has a much much better panel ..I'm kinda afraid my 7800gt wont run most games at the monitors native res so a 22" might be best ...i'm waiting on the new nvidia cards so would have to live with 7800gt till at least 2008

Use pixel mapping, it should be in the NV controll panel, or just be a man like me and buy a S-IPS Dell.

the dell isnt s-ips ..if you mean the dell 2007 ..some are S-PVA ..it's a panel lottery as to which panel you'll get. The 27" dell is s-ips but I'm not shelling out $1000 for a computer monitor
