Upgrading Comp

Hey...
I ran into some money and i decided to put it into my comp...
im gonna get an Sapphire X850 XT, Chaintech Mobo, AMD 64 3500+... along with my 1 gig of ram i think that should run games quite sufficiently... anyways... this will be my first time installing a mobo... and i read the guides on how to do it but i just wanna know if you guys have any tips on how to make the installation as smooth as possible... and i wanna know like will all the stuff on my hard drive stay there or will i need to reformat... will i need to re-install window?

you will need to reformat, so if you have a backup drive put it on there, then reinstall windows...as for tips for installing the motherbord the instructions that come with it will make it simple to install....enjoy
