considering upgrading from my 9800pro

thanks
:rolling:

depending on how much you're looking to spend really. i'd recommend at 7800 gt from nvidia but I prefer ATI myself, and if money isnt an issue...850 xl for teh win.

umm guys he just wants to upgrade his video card not the mobo and the video card or possibly more than that

proablly like something from the x800 line (not the gt / gto models)

I'd say that a x800xl would be the best value ati card that uses the agp interface. if you wanted though, the 6800gt agp model would be a good card to get also, but thats nvidia, so it depends if you want to cross to the dark side, jk :p

Don't upgrade from a 9800Pro to an AGP card unless you have to, you're essentially buying a dead end solution in terms of upgrades. A shiny new PCIe mobo is only 60 or so pound and coupled with a powercolor X800 Bravo (135pound) will more than double your performance for **** all money.
