URGENT HELP Required!

I've popped in my P4 processor into my Abit AG8 3rd Eye Motherboard.. put on the heatsink and fan, plugged in the power button etc. Hit the power switch.. no activity from the fan.. and 1 long and 1 short beep.. over and over.. some time delay between each..

Help me please.. I'm really worried!

You DO realize, your title is annoying, right?

Anyways, try reseating the CPU (and everything else) till I go look it up.

What kind of power supply are you using?

I'll assume you plugged in the ram?

Reseated Heatsink, and moved RAM to DIMM1.. everything seems ok now, fan is going on

I'd still check out a manual or something to find out what those POST beeps were trying to tell you.

Yeah.. Manual isn't much help sadly :|

Anyway, getting nice Video Card Failure beeps now :O

Done.. no effect..

Try the website for whoever makes your BIOS.. they should have PDF's

Do you know what type your PSU is?
