US censors getting out of hand :)

The fact that somebody need to express themselves by showing puppets doing oral sex is kind of disturbing. :O

I fail to understand this logic.
Is the MPAA religious? No because they would also condem violence. Then why are they like this?
This movie will be 17 and up in the states and here in canada it will be open to anyone. Is it us that have a problem or them?

well just look at Janet jackson incident ..the shite hit the fan because of a quick flash of a nipple ..yet you can turn on CSI and see body parts at 7 pm. Saw a decapitated head in a bucket once on CSI ...but dear god they dont dare show nudity! that's just filthy! :rolleyes:

Look at it this way.

Group A: Wants to show puppet oral sex.
Group B: Wants to censor puppet oral sex.

What is more ridiculous, wanting to show puppet oral sex to the public or trying to censor puppet oral sex? For crying out loud, IT'S PUPPET SEX! This should be a comedy sketch on Conan O'Brien, not happening in real life.

NO nudity on tv, yet they show insanely violent stuff.

ya but I'm sure the puppet sex ties in with the plot ...the entire movie is puppets so what's the difference if it's sex or violence? why censor one aspect but leave the more damaging one (IMHO) intact?

Nudity is common in Sweden.

yes but there are some excellent american shows that seems to have no censorship at all ....Six Feet Under comes to mind ..the first episode had homosexual situations, didnt show their wee-wee's but it was pretty explicit :)
