I would like to see how this pans out, I can't verify how trustworthy the link is, or the authors etc. But I wouldn't doubt it. It pretty much says that before the start of the war, the DoD and the Exuctive branch re-defined "casuality". In the new definition of a troop death in Iraq, they don't count injured/wounded soldiers who died en route, or at German military hospital facilities. If so, they say the death toll could be upwards of 7,000 U.S. troops. You want to honor these pour souls? You want to support these brave soldiers? Then.. Don't forget a single one.

ffs korebolter did you even look into it? did you even read any of the supplied links? you cant just jump to conclusions without looking at the evidence

this project is pretty interesting ...There's a Department of Defense webiste that has a list of all the soldiers killed in action ..it has drop down menus where you can search by specific war front and date, but for the life of me I cant find it ..if this is true (which I admit I'm more than a little skeptical at this point) the shit will literally hit the fan

btw found this interesting:

"at least 5,500 American military personnel have deserted"

even if the article is right, theres still a chance they might be lying.

skeptical :p

there's a chance of an airplane slamming into my office right now at this very instance .....now!

read the article research it by cross referencing numbers come to your own conclusion BUT dont make a generalised statement based on absolutely nothing

This has been known for a while, hope it gets out in to the public and the media throws a fit (they wont). Yes, support the troops by putting that yellow ribbon on your car but for god sakes, if honoring the troops means taking a political hit for Bush then **** that.

its not to do with bush.. its about honoring the people who risk thier lives being over in that raging terrorist packed country..

The policy has everything to do with Bush and the right wing.
